“Read the best books first, or you may not have a chance to read them at all.”
-Henry David Thoreau, A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers
I posted this quote not very long ago, but it really made me think. We were always told to save the best for last, but what if there’s no time for that? This life is short and beautiful things are being created everyday, so why waste time on the mediocre? Why try to save wonderful things for too long? I want to experience the best things while I have the chance. What are some books or movies (or songs or anything really) that changed your life, that you’re glad you didn’t save for some undefined ‘later’?
